How TD Synnex makes money

It earns a margin on reselling IT hardware, software and cloud subscriptions to channel partners, and adds fee income from value-added services such as system integration, logistics, repair, financing, device-as-a-service and marketing programs.

What TD Synnex does

TD SYNNEX is one of the IT industry's major middlemen. Formerly SYNNEX Corporation, it was renamed in September 2021. The company sources technology from vendors and distributes it to resellers, system integrators, government resellers, retailers, direct marketers and managed service providers across the United States, Europe and other international markets. The portfolio spans endpoint devices (PCs, mobile phones, printers and peripherals) and advanced data center solutions: servers, storage, networking, security, software, converged infrastructure and hyperscale infrastructure. Beyond moving products, TD SYNNEX adds value through design, integration and testing services such as thermal and power-draw testing and burn-in. It also offers cloud services, logistics, depot repair, financing options including floor plan financing and leasing, device-as-a-service, and marketing programs for resellers. A strategic alliance with EigenQ helps public-sector, defense and enterprise customers prepare AMD EPYC-based server environments for post-quantum security. Founded in 1980, the company is headquartered in Fremont, California.

What is TD Synnex worth?

On an owner-earnings DCF, TD Synnex's most-likely value is about $396 versus a recent price near $273 (45% below fair value). But TacticScale only calls a stock undervalued when the price sits below its conservative no-growth floor (~$213) with a margin of safety — so the honest verdict here is “Fairly priced — no edge.” Fair value earns its keep only at the extremes, not in the wide middle.

Verdict: Fairly priced — no edge
Owner-earnings fair value · recent price ≈ $273
Fair value (most likely)
$396
Range
$311–$590
No-growth floor
$213
Price
~$273

Price sits in the normal range — fair value isn't actionable here; it earns its keep only when price drops below the no-growth floor, or runs to roughly double the optimistic case.

Analysis, not advice. Fair value is a margin-of-safety estimate from a deterministic owner-earnings DCF, not a price target or recommendation. See the full breakdown →
