How Qorvo makes money

Qorvo sells chips and modules directly to device makers (OEMs and ODMs) and through sales representatives and distributors. It also earns revenue from compound semiconductor foundry, wafer processing, and packaging services, much of it for defense and aerospace customers.

What Qorvo does

Qorvo, Inc., founded in 1957 and headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, develops radio frequency, connectivity, analog, and power semiconductors for wireless, wired, and power markets. It has three segments. Advanced Cellular Group (ACG) supplies cellular solutions for smartphones, wearables, laptops, and tablets. Connectivity and Sensors Group (CSG) covers UWB, Matter, Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, Thread, Wi-Fi, and cellular solutions for smart home, industrial, automotive, gaming, and enterprise markets. High Performance Analog (HPA) serves defense and aerospace with RF, analog mixed-signal, and power management products. Beyond its own chips, Qorvo offers compound semiconductor foundry, wafer processing, advanced packaging, and heterogeneous integration services, including for defense prime contractors. It sells directly to OEMs and ODMs and through distributors and sales representatives. Its customers are in the United States, China, Taiwan, the rest of Asia, and Europe.

What is Qorvo worth?

On an owner-earnings DCF, Qorvo's most-likely value is about $129 versus a recent price near $114 (13% below fair value). But TacticScale only calls a stock undervalued when the price sits below its conservative no-growth floor (~$82) with a margin of safety — so the honest verdict here is “Fairly priced — no edge.” Fair value earns its keep only at the extremes, not in the wide middle.

Verdict: Fairly priced — no edge

Price sits in the normal range — fair value isn't actionable here; it earns its keep only when price drops below the no-growth floor, or runs to roughly double the optimistic case.

Analysis, not advice. Fair value is a margin-of-safety estimate from a deterministic owner-earnings DCF, not a price target or recommendation. See the full breakdown →
