What Enpro does
Enpro Inc. (formerly EnPro Industries, renamed in December 2023) is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based industrial technology company, incorporated in 2002, that makes proprietary engineered products for critical environments. It reports two segments. Sealing Technologies is the larger, established business. It makes gaskets, dynamic and mechanical seals, compression packing, elastomeric components, hydraulic components, expansion joints, and single-use hygienic seals and tubing, sold under brands such as Garlock, Gylon, and LINK-SEAL. Its customers span chemical processing, nuclear, hydrogen, natural gas, food and biopharma, mining, water treatment, commercial vehicles, aerospace, medical, and semiconductor fabrication. Advanced Surface Technologies focuses on semiconductor and high-tech markets. It precision-machines front-end wafer processing sub-systems and provides cleaning, coating, testing, and refurbishment services for chip-equipment components. It also makes optical filters and thin-film coatings for industrial, life sciences, and semiconductor uses, plus edge-welded metal bellows for chip equipment, space, aerospace, and defense. Together, the two segments pair steady industrial demand with exposure to semiconductor manufacturing.

What is Enpro worth?
On an owner-earnings DCF, Enpro's most-likely value is about $161 versus a recent price near $311 (48% above fair value). But TacticScale only calls a stock undervalued when the price sits below its conservative no-growth floor (~$76) with a margin of safety — so the honest verdict here is “Fairly priced — no edge.” Fair value earns its keep only at the extremes, not in the wide middle.
Price sits in the normal range — fair value isn't actionable here; it earns its keep only when price drops below the no-growth floor, or runs to roughly double the optimistic case.
Analysis, not advice. Fair value is a margin-of-safety estimate from a deterministic owner-earnings DCF, not a price target or recommendation. See the full breakdown →
