How Doubleverify makes money

It sells software and data services to advertisers and digital publishers. These cover ad quality verification, AI-driven campaign optimization, attribution and measurement, and publisher revenue management, and they plug into programmatic platforms, social media channels and publisher sites.

What Doubleverify does

DoubleVerify Holdings, founded in 2008 and headquartered in New York, runs media effectiveness platforms for the digital advertising industry. Its main metric, DV Authentic Ad, scores each digital ad for fraud, brand suitability, viewability and geography. DV Authentic Attention and Custom Contextual build on this with data for improving campaign performance and matching ads to relevant content. The company has also moved into AI optimization and outcome measurement. Scibids AI and DV Authentic AdVantage optimize campaigns, Rockerbox provides multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing, and DV Pinnacle offers cross-channel performance insights. For the sell side, DV Publisher Suite helps publishers improve inventory yield. Its solutions connect to programmatic platforms, social media channels and publishers, and it serves customers in consumer packaged goods, financial services, telecom, technology, automotive and healthcare.

What is Doubleverify worth?

On an owner-earnings DCF, Doubleverify's most-likely value is about $25 versus a recent price near $13 (87% below fair value). But TacticScale only calls a stock undervalued when the price sits below its conservative no-growth floor (~$11) with a margin of safety — so the honest verdict here is “Fairly priced — no edge.” Fair value earns its keep only at the extremes, not in the wide middle.

Verdict: Fairly priced — no edge
Owner-earnings fair value · recent price ≈ $13
Fair value (most likely)

Range
$18–$46
No-growth floor

Price

Price sits in the normal range — fair value isn't actionable here; it earns its keep only when price drops below the no-growth floor, or runs to roughly double the optimistic case.

Analysis, not advice. Fair value is a margin-of-safety estimate from a deterministic owner-earnings DCF, not a price target or recommendation. See the full breakdown →
