What Repligen does
Repligen is a life sciences company, founded in 1981 and based in Waltham, Massachusetts, that supplies technology for manufacturing biologic drugs. Its range covers upstream cell culture, such as XCell ATF perfusion systems and cell culture growth factors, and downstream purification, including KrosFlo and TFDF filtration, TangenX cassettes, OPUS pre-packed columns, chromatography resins and Protein A ligands used in affinity resins. It also sells process analytics tools, including the PATsmart line and SoloVPE and FlowVPE spectroscopy systems, which measure key bioprocess parameters in real time or at-line. Its customers are biopharmaceutical companies, contract manufacturing organizations, diagnostics companies and laboratory researchers in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. A large share of the portfolio is consumables used in production runs. Repligen also works with Navigo Proteins to develop new affinity ligands.

What is Repligen worth?
On an owner-earnings DCF, Repligen's most-likely value is about $73 versus a recent price near $174 (58% above fair value). But TacticScale only calls a stock undervalued when the price sits below its conservative no-growth floor (~$22) with a margin of safety — so the honest verdict here is “Fairly priced — no edge.” Fair value earns its keep only at the extremes, not in the wide middle.
Price sits in the normal range — fair value isn't actionable here; it earns its keep only when price drops below the no-growth floor, or runs to roughly double the optimistic case.
Analysis, not advice. Fair value is a margin-of-safety estimate from a deterministic owner-earnings DCF, not a price target or recommendation. See the full breakdown →
