What Regal Rexnord does
Regal Rexnord, formerly Regal Beloit, is a Milwaukee-based industrial manufacturer founded in 1955. It makes products that power, transmit and control motion, and sells them across North America, Asia, Europe and other regions. It has three segments. Automation & Motion Control covers conveyors, aerospace components, precision motion control and servo motors, plus power management products such as transfer switches and modular electric pods. Industrial Powertrain Solutions covers bearings, couplings, gearboxes, clutches and brakes. Power Efficiency Solutions covers small AC/DC motors, drives, fans, blowers and air-moving subsystems. Its customers work in factory automation, food and beverage, aerospace, medical, data centers, metals and mining, energy and commercial HVAC. That mix gives the company exposure to both industrial automation and energy-efficient building and data center infrastructure.

What is Regal Rexnord worth?
On an owner-earnings DCF, Regal Rexnord's most-likely value is about $114 versus a recent price near $165 (31% above fair value). But TacticScale only calls a stock undervalued when the price sits below its conservative no-growth floor (~$66) with a margin of safety — so the honest verdict here is “Fairly priced — no edge.” Fair value earns its keep only at the extremes, not in the wide middle.
Price sits in the normal range — fair value isn't actionable here; it earns its keep only when price drops below the no-growth floor, or runs to roughly double the optimistic case.
⚠ High leverage — net debt is 9.3× annual cash flow. Net debt is subtracted from this fair value, but refinancing at higher rates, principal timing, and share dilution aren’t modeled — the equity can be worth far less if cash flow weakens.
Analysis, not advice. Fair value is a margin-of-safety estimate from a deterministic owner-earnings DCF, not a price target or recommendation. See the full breakdown →
