How Inmode makes money

InMode makes money by selling its aesthetic medical device platforms to practitioners through its own sales operations in the U.S., Canada, several European countries, Japan, Australia, and India, and through distributors in other markets.

What Inmode does

InMode Ltd. builds the technology behind many modern cosmetic treatments. Founded in 2008 as Invasix and based in Yokne'am, Israel, the company is known for proprietary radiofrequency technologies, including radiofrequency assisted lipolysis and deep subdermal fractional radiofrequency. These power minimally invasive procedures such as liposuction with simultaneous skin tightening, face and body contouring, and ablative skin resurfacing. Beyond minimally invasive treatments, InMode offers non-invasive devices for permanent hair reduction, wrinkle reduction, cellulite, skin texture, and benign vascular and pigmented lesions. It also sells hands-free systems for skin tightening, fat reduction, and muscle stimulation, plus devices for women's health procedures. It sells directly in the U.S., Canada, much of Western Europe, Japan, Australia, and India, and uses distributors to reach other international markets. That gives the company exposure to the growing demand for aesthetic procedures.

What is Inmode worth?

On an owner-earnings DCF, Inmode's most-likely value is about $31 versus a recent price near $14 (121% below fair value). But TacticScale only calls a stock undervalued when the price sits below its conservative no-growth floor (~$19) with a margin of safety — so the honest verdict here is “Deeply discounted.” Fair value earns its keep only at the extremes, not in the wide middle.

Verdict: Deeply discounted
Owner-earnings fair value · recent price ≈ $14
Fair value (most likely)
$31
Range
$23–$51
No-growth floor
$19
Price
~$14

On the financials alone, $14 is below even the no-growth floor ($19); the market's discount — expectations and sentiment beyond the numbers — is pricing in ≈ -2.7%/yr. A bargain only if that pessimism is overdone.

Analysis, not advice. Fair value is a margin-of-safety estimate from a deterministic owner-earnings DCF, not a price target or recommendation. See the full breakdown →
