What DENTSPLY SIRONA does

DENTSPLY SIRONA, founded in 1877 and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, supplies dental professionals worldwide with equipment, consumables and digital workflows. It took its current name in February 2016, having been known as DENTSPLY International. It reports four segments. Connected Technology Solutions covers imaging, treatment centers, handpieces, intraoral scanners, 3D printers, mills and the CEREC chairside restoration system. Essential Dental Solutions supplies endodontic tools, restorative materials, scalers, anesthetics and other everyday clinical products. Orthodontic and Implant Solutions includes SureSmile clear aligners, the DS Core 3D visualization platform, dental implants, digital dentures, bone regeneration products and treatment planning software. The fourth segment, Wellspect Healthcare, sells catheters for urinary retention and irrigation systems for people with chronic constipation. Together the segments combine capital equipment sales with recurring consumable and product revenue.

What is DENTSPLY SIRONA worth?

On an owner-earnings DCF, DENTSPLY SIRONA's most-likely value is about $13 versus a recent price near $9 (42% below fair value). But TacticScale only calls a stock undervalued when the price sits below its conservative no-growth floor (~$9) with a margin of safety — so the honest verdict here is “Fairly priced — no edge.” Fair value earns its keep only at the extremes, not in the wide middle.

Verdict: Fairly priced — no edge
Owner-earnings fair value · recent price ≈ $9
Fair value (most likely)
$13
Range
$10–$17
No-growth floor
$9
Price
~$9

Price sits in the normal range — fair value isn't actionable here; it earns its keep only when price drops below the no-growth floor, or runs to roughly double the optimistic case.

⚠ High leverage — net debt is 8.4× annual cash flow. Net debt is subtracted from this fair value, but refinancing at higher rates, principal timing, and share dilution aren’t modeled — the equity can be worth far less if cash flow weakens.

Analysis, not advice. Fair value is a margin-of-safety estimate from a deterministic owner-earnings DCF, not a price target or recommendation. See the full breakdown →
