Founded in 1994 and based in Hangzhou, it is majority-owned by French appliance group SEB SA.

It earns revenue by manufacturing and selling branded cookware and small kitchen appliances to Chinese consumers through retail and online channels. A second stream comes from export manufacturing, shipping cookware and electrical products to Japan, Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia, largely tied to its parent SEB.
