What Upbound does

Upbound lets shoppers who can't get traditional credit take home furniture, electronics, appliances, tires and more by leasing them with the option to own. It does this through its own Rent-A-Center stores, kiosks and virtual options inside other retailers (Acima), and online. It also offers financial health apps (Brigit) and runs stores in Mexico.

How Upbound makes money

It earns lease and rental payments from consumers on lease-to-own merchandise, plus income from installment sales, franchising, and its mobile and web financial health products.
