Sichuan New Energy Power Company Limited
Chinese wind, solar, waste-to-energy and lithium producer
Understand Sichuan New Energy Power →What Sichuan New Energy Power does
Sichuan New Energy Power builds and runs power plants in China, mainly wind farms and solar (photovoltaic) fields, plus plants that burn household garbage to make electricity. Alongside the waste plants it provides city sanitation services such as rubbish collection and handling. It also mines and processes lithium ore into lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide, and sells lithium battery products. The company was previously called Sichuan Chemical and took its current name in September 2018.
How Sichuan New Energy Power makes money
It earns revenue by selling the electricity its wind, solar and waste-incineration plants generate, and by charging cities for waste treatment and sanitation services. A second income stream comes from selling lithium chemicals (lithium carbonate and hydroxide) and lithium battery products.
