Sichuan Jiuzhou Electronic Co., Ltd.

Chinese maker of TV set-top boxes and radar communication gear

What Sichuan Jiuzhou Electronic does

Sichuan Jiuzhou builds the boxes and devices that carry TV, internet and radio signals into homes and across networks — things like digital TV set-top terminals, home broadband modems, WiFi access points and fiber optic transmission equipment. It also makes specialized air traffic control and microwave radio frequency products used to track and communicate with aircraft. More recently it has moved into energy equipment, supplying battery storage systems for factories, businesses and shipping-container-sized installations, plus AC charging piles for electric vehicles.

How Sichuan Jiuzhou Electronic makes money

The company earns revenue by manufacturing and selling hardware terminals and equipment to telecom carriers, broadcasters, air traffic and defense-related customers, and energy system buyers, both in China and export markets. Growth depends on winning equipment supply contracts and on volume orders tied to network upgrades and energy infrastructure buildout.
