What Shenzhen Gas does

Shenzhen Gas pipes natural gas to homes, businesses, factories and power plants, and installs the gas pipelines and equipment that connect them. It also sells liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), uses natural gas to generate electricity and heat, and is growing in newer energy areas such as solar power. It also makes gas equipment, including smart gas meters and its own brand of gas appliances.

How Shenzhen Gas makes money

Most of its money comes from selling pipeline natural gas and LPG to end users, plus fees for pipeline connections and gas engineering construction. It also earns revenue from gas-fired power and heat, solar and new-energy power generation, energy trading, and sales of gas meters, appliances and equipment.
