What PetroChina does

PetroChina finds and pumps crude oil and natural gas, mainly in China and also abroad. It refines crude into fuels and chemicals, sells gasoline and other products at its service stations, and moves natural gas through pipelines to customers. It is also building out new energy and new materials businesses.

How PetroChina makes money

It earns money by producing and selling crude oil and natural gas, refining them into fuels and petrochemicals, and marketing those products through its retail station network, trading operations and gas transmission business.
