What Allwinner does

Allwinner designs the main processor chips (systems-on-a-chip) that act as the brains of everyday smart devices, such as tablets, TV boxes, projectors, robot vacuums, security cameras and car electronics. It also makes analog power chips and wireless connectivity chips for Internet of Things devices. It supports chip agents, solution providers and business customers through an online platform where they can download product packages and get technical help.

How Allwinner makes money

It makes most of its money selling SoC, analog and wireless connectivity chips to device makers, solution providers and distributors in China and overseas. Trading and software development add smaller amounts of revenue.
