How Air China Cargo makes money

It earns revenue by selling cargo space on its flights (including bidding out belly and freighter capacity), charging handling and storage fees at its cargo terminals, and billing for contract, e-commerce and freight-forwarding logistics services. Specialized handling solutions for perishables, pharmaceuticals, dangerous goods and high-value shipments command premium rates over standard freight.
