What Aflac does

Aflac sells insurance that pays cash benefits when policyholders face events like cancer, hospital stays, accidents or disability, on top of their regular health coverage. How Aflac makes money

Aflac collects insurance premiums from individuals and through employer-sponsored plans, pays out claims when covered events occur, and earns investment income on the premiums it holds before paying claims.
